June 18, 201511 yr Saw a recipe in the paper today that was a flank steak marinated in skyline chili than grilled, sliced onto a hogie bun coated with cream cheese. Ended up pretty tasty. I will admit that I'm intrigued by this.

June 19, 201511 yr Finally gave Mrs. S a break from my cooking. Took her to the Olive Garden, because it's close by and Longhorn was packed. Mrs. S had the Rosemary and Garlic Chicken, with the potatoes, and tiramisu for dessert. She deserves it. She's lost 40 lbs. (No carbs and my cooking will do that to you.) I had Shrimp Fresco, baked tilapia with shrimp, and broccoli. We got the salad, but with no bread sticks or croutons.
June 19, 201511 yr Went to Windy Corner last night. It was so good. Had the shrimp basket. The shrimp were huge and so good. For dessert We had HUGE ginger cookies. IF you are in Lexington I would highly recommend it. It is out in the country and looks like a old country store.
June 19, 201511 yr Enjoyed a couple hot dogs and a soft pretzel after the Reds game was called last night. Gotta quit doing that lol.
June 19, 201511 yr Our kitchen is still a work in progress, so this week has been frozen meals or out to dinner unfortunately. Last night we had one of those Stouffer's Stuffed Peppers meals. Really solid as far as frozen meals go, but I can't wait to have actual home-cooked meals again!
June 20, 201511 yr Two chili dogs at an auction in the greater Lenoxburg metropolitan area. Did you buy anything ?
