June 16, 201511 yr How is it? Is that the place down the hill on 68 from Pasquale's? Yes, that's where it is. Used to be the ill-fated Cadillac Cafe, or some such thing. Same menu and probably same ownership as the place on the Flemingsburg bypass. Been there twice already with good results both times. We got 6 meals out of the 3o bucks we spent yesterday. Tamales were dense and filling, and 3 for $6.
June 16, 201511 yr Just noticed the other day as I was actually went that way to see the BBQ place. I knew the Cadillac Cafe went out of business. I'm sure we will check it out sooner or later. Just hard to be in maysville and eat Mexican and not go to one by Kmart.
June 16, 201511 yr Cod fish baked in herb butter and encrusted in parmesan cheese. Corn on the cob with herb butter, crab stuffed mushroom and cole slaw. White nectarines for dessert.
June 16, 201511 yr Had some cod last night also, but yours sounds way better @gold sunrise. Ours was grilled. Then we had asparagus again and corn fresh from the Amish.
June 17, 201511 yr Mine are the fluffy kind. Big and light. My Mamaw Rowland taught me how to make them. They are soooooo good. Mrs. TAC must have been creeping over my shoulder while I was on here. We had chicken and dumplings last night. The slick kind.
June 17, 201511 yr Grilled some BBQ Chicken, baked potato, and asparagus (last time for a while haha).
June 17, 201511 yr Saw a recipe in the paper today that was a flank steak marinated in skyline chili than grilled, sliced onto a hogie bun coated with cream cheese. Ended up pretty tasty.
