Hot dog with sauerkraut. It’s very apparent I eat like crap when she's not at home.

How did you fix the spinach? I love it.

I'm not sure she does the spinach I'm not touching the stuff.

Had the new Noodles & Company in the Newport Pavilion for the 3rd time since it opened. The Tai Hot Pot is fantastic...

Snappy tomato steak Hogie, mushroom sauce cheese and pickle.

Skirt steak on the Forman with California mixed veggies.

Pulled pork with Carolina mustard BBQ sauce and coleslaw with pineapple chunks in it.

A little tangy with a little sweet.

I know some people are weird about their BBQ sauce in that they feel like it has to be super-tomato-ey. But I've always had good success when I've done up mustard-based BBQ sauces. Never had a chance to try the real thing from Carolina; just my own interpretation of it.

Dang, those cobs are rough to eat when they get bigger than the little ones they use in Chinese restaurants.

Had some Buffalo wings and a slice of pizza at a new place here in Bardstown. I'll be going back.

Guess I blew it by not mentioning the place's name.

Anyway, it's called Roby's Caddy Shack and it's located across Ky 49 from Old Ky Home Golf Club and a stone's throw away from Evan Williams and the Bourbon Heritage Ctr.

Will ask my brother-in-law if they have eaten there yet? How long has it been open?

It used to be a place called The Sportsman's Club back in the day, as well as Hawk's.

Can't count this as dinner, but had brunch at Highland Morning on Bardstown Road today. 3.5 stars out of 4. Baja Benedict for me, Lemon lovers pancakes for the Mrs. and veggie omelet for the avatar. Good solid cuppa joe. I'll be back.
