Chane Behanan off Cardinals team?

Featured Replies

So' date=' what is it, anyway? This is fourth paragraph down in the Courier-Journal's story: But this comes later on in the story: Wait, Rick. I thought the university has kicked him out? How could he have this option if it was the university kicking him out? As is usually the case with Ricky, we're not getting the full story.
Looks as if the university should have just released a statement instead of feeding us that. The hint dropped that Chane (and presumably Rick, et al.) saw this coming makes me at least question the timing of it all being after the UK game. Am I reading that wrong? And not in the sense they wanted Chane to aid in victory on the court, but to avoid the circus prior to the existing circus already around the game.

So will he transfer or hire an agent?

Hiring an agent would be a waste of money.

Agreed. However it is obvious that Behanan has lacked in the decision making department so who knows.......

Not sure what you're missing, or maybe I'm missing. I read the University has dismissed him from the basketball team. Doesn't say anything about him being dismissed from school.

Kids with lesser talent have made a living playing overseas.

Do the overseas guys sign agents? I never even thought about that, honestly.

Agents will be lined up for a 6'6 guy with no outside game. :D

Seems like his best option will be overseas.

It's weird he would be kicked off of the team for violating university policy.

I think your reading it right except for the part about wanting to maybe get one more win out of him.

I don't rejoice in someone's downfall when it comes to something like this, but I also acknowledge that Chane made his own bed here. He was given multiple opportunities & has repeatedly wasted them.

I really do hope he grows up & makes something of himself.

I agree with you. Let's hope that he learns and grows from this, or maybe get him away from bad influences, if that is the case.

He left Cincinnati to get away from "bad influences". At some point maybe the influence in question can be found in a mirror...

I think so. Sometimes they aren't from America though, I'd imagine.
