Chane Behanan off Cardinals team?

Featured Replies

What a bunch of prudes. We had a pub inside the student union at Dayton.

Red Barn on the U of L campus in the 1980s. There was lots of alcohol there many a weekend.

Different rules, different places.

Well Chane's release says he can be contacted by all schools with the exception of ACC member schools. That would seem to eliminate FSU.

I hate nitpicking at words, but it says that he can be contacted by all schools with the exception of ACC, but can he contact them?

It says UL grants all institutions with the exception of ACC member schools permission to contact Chane Behanan

Hell, if I was UL I would block every school except ACC schools :lol2:

Do you think that means he's not allowed to transfer to ACC schools or just that they're not allowed to contact him?

He would have to pay his own way for a year...

In that case, I guess he could still go there. Might just have to have the national championship ring stolen first.

I'd say there's little chance of that happening.

Sounds like he wants to go work out with John Lucas in Houston.

Best decision he could make IMO.

I have no idea what he's in trouble for. But, whatever it is, I'm glad he's facing the fact he has things he needs to work out and is taking those steps. I can tell you, as a parent of a child with deamons at one time (not drugs, but still destructive), it is heartbreaking for those who love them to know you are doing everything you can, and they still can't change. But I can tell you...sometimes removing oneself completely from the influences is the best answer. And by influences, the people in your life that enable your behavior. It's very, very hard for some people. Most of the time (in my experience) there's an extreme self loathing or lack of confidence in themselves that's a root problem. They look to these outside influences and believe that their "acceptance" makes them matter, and without that, they are nothing. Chane, for all that he is, could very well be battling such issues.

Steve Jones of the CJ now saying that Chane would be free to transfer to any ACC school. Conference rules, according to him, do not yet apply.
