Good game. I'm happy to be able to watch from home but it's so hard to watch on iHigh. They finally started showing the score during the game but now there's no concept of time and no sound. It's hard to keep up with the game situation like that but it's better than nothing.

Anyone at the game saw refs hold their whistle when Dixie got fouled... through the first 3 qtrs. there were plenty of obvious ones they passed on. They knew KCC could not get in foul trouble. If Dixie plays them up north Dixie kills them. I don't think their bench could win an 8th grade tourney.

 

Hall is good. Kid can play. Justice is good too. But that is it. NCC will crush them.

In all seriousness, sounds like Dixie has found their form. Can they contend in that region?

 

I got bashed big time for trying to tell people throughout the summer that Dixie was going to be a problem for teams in the 9th region and #3 wasn't too high for them....the way they've played lately is showing why I made those comments. They might not be flashy, but what they do very well is play defense and that wins a lot of games.

Like they crushed Cordia? A team that KCC had very little trouble defeating....at Cordia. If I remember correctly NCC struggled to beat Cordia in 2 OT.

I am not a believer in that but I did think the refs were not that great tonight. The most obvious foul that should've been called was on Hatton's 3 attempt from the right wing. He got crushed and no whistle. In a 2 point game those 3 free throws are huge.

Did you watch the game????? NCC got hosed by the refs that game. No way Cordia is within 50 points of NCC. Those damn 11th Region refs. Don't call nothing for 9th Region teams. Hell, Cordia is #10 in the 9th Region. NCC just got hosed by the refs. That's why it was so close.

Ennam is right on this one... NCC had no troubles with KCC last year and NCC is much better this year. It's all about match ups. Small teams like Cordia with good guard play and athleticism are going to give Newcath problems this year. A team like KCC that can't match their size and can't out athlete them, won't.
