I know that it says "regular season high school athletic events" and isn't this tourney held during the regular season? It's definitely not post season.

Yes.

I didn't see the game but from reading about it on another site visited by a lot of Knott Central fans their take was that Dixie Height lived and died by the 3 and that was what kept them in the game. But if those treys ain't falling teams like Dixie could be in a world of trouble. They also were critical of KCC's free throw shooting, saying they could have won comfortably if not for poor percentage from the line.

Just thought I'd add a perspective from the other side.
