I spoke with someone very close to the highlands program yesterday, and ot was said that Collins really only had 2 seniors last year and that they are much improved. I predict a Highlands victory but by less than last year. I will guess Highlands 42 Collins 22.

Collins QB can pass the ball and he can also run the ball.

 

Holy smoke Batman....they have a duel threat! Something Mueller has never seen...JK....Im pretty sure they will be prepared for him and I am sure Collins QB will have some success but UK fan is hanging on to one more chance to talk smack to the bird fans...then its crow all the way to August again. I hate to say it UK fan but # 7 is coming and you have to sit there helpless!:clap:

I would like to see some analysis of this game discussing who people think might have the advantage offensively, defensively and on special teams. And if a team has a perceived advantage in any area, how does the opposing team try and combat that advantage. Not interested in hearing how far it is to drive, whether each school will get buses for fans or any of the other nonsense. Lets talk football.

 

One advantage that I see for HHS is the fact that they have 9 or 10 wide receivers that each have a unique quality about them. Interested to hear how Collins might try and limit or take away this advantage.

Coach Lucas, Collins' Head Coach, is one of my good friends. To my knowledge, they had 1 offensive starter that was a senior and one defensive starter that was a senior.

Team believes what the coaches are saying which you can bet is a LOT different than what some of the fans are saying. They've dealt with it for years. Collins has had an unbelivable rise to the top in just a few short years.

Does Collins rotate any DBs? If not, the WR rotation can wear on you EVEN IF the DBs are not also playing offense. Problem is, 1 or 2 of the 4 WRs runs mid to deep on each play (even running plays). As the DB jogs back to the line of scrimmage for the next play, snapped as soon as the ball is placed ready by the White Hat, he stares across at a new WR who just came off the sidelines after resting while he was running deep with the WR that is now jogging to the sidelines to get his blow before the next play. Take a play off as a DB and that is when they go over the top. It is challenging to say the least.

42-35 HHS in a pretty close game.
