I don't care what Louisville and Illinois think. I said he wasn't the best QB that I saw this year. That means I have seen Devin Hayes, Drew Houliston, Drew Barker, Chris Porter-Bunton, BJ Nagle, Carmichael from Anderson County, Josiah Robbins, Drew Davis, Reece Ryan and a few other QBs play this season and I thought 3 of them were better than Ryan. That's all I said. In the game I saw Ryan play this season he wasn't better than Josiah Robbins.

I look at Elite QB's in the mix and believe these types of kids can be game changers obviously until they meet their overall matchup and Ryan was worthy of this last nite.

 

His team was totally overmatched man for man but he showed incredible skills against a team that he could not overcome by himself. (ie-Tim Couch vs Highlands Playoffs)

 

Not sayin Ryan in same league as Couch but certainly has similarities and worthy of 4 star status, JMO...:thumb:

Let me clearer. Ryan is a talented 4-star QB. He has a bright future. I saw him play once this season and he had a bad game. Of all the QBs I was able to see play this season there are at least 3 that I saw have a better Friday night than he did when I saw him.

I have watched both play and I am taking Collins!

Sounds like they are on their way and continuing to improve the program. Wonder what changed in the 1st game that convinces a coach to change the plans set forth during an entire summer of intense practice. As discussed numerous times on here, the benefits of 2 platoon are many. Coach Lucas identifies a few in the article. Hope for a well played game.

Angry? Hell naw. I just felt like you guys weren't understanding what I was trying to say. It's like you guys were taking my words as saying Ryan wasn't any good or shouldn't be a 4 star player and I know that is not the case. I was simply stating that out of all the QBs I saw this season he didn't have a great enough game for me to say he was one of the top 3 quarterbacks that I saw this season. That goes back to my initial point that even if Ryan is rated as a better QB than the kid from Collins that it doesn't mean that the kid from Collins won't have a good game against Highlands.
