Have you looked at the KHSAA record books? Since Collins has been around Lucas has had them throwing since they stepped off the bus. As long as these two schools are in the same class they better just get use to seeing each other a lot. Page is a legit QB. Ryan I'm sure is a 4 star but that doesn't mean crap. It means he might be taller and a few other things.

 

If what you say is true, Lucas had better start throwing from the get go and hope to make it a track meet. That is their only chance. Running will simply not cut it. I'd throw on 4 downs everytime.

True, they lost to SK. I was at the game because we opened on Saturday night. It was very hot and humid and for opening night, Collins was playing a lot of guys both ways. Collins wore down in the 4th quarter and couldn't stop the final SK drive. When the game was over, Coach Lucas told me that he was going to have to figure out a platoon system in order to have a chance at returning to Bowling Green and a rematch against HHS. Well, I think he has succeeded. Now, I am not saying Collins wins but I am doubting they lay an egg like last year. After the game last year while HHS was celebrating their 287th consecutive Championship ( check my math, it may be off a couple ) Coach Lucas told his guys to remember the feeling because they would be back this year. He also told them they had a great year but now they knew what a top tier team looked like and to beat them, you have to become a top tier team like them. Well, so far, Collins has responded. I look for a high scoring game.
