November 27, 201312 yr My wife's Brown Sugar Pie. Where did she get the recipe? My grandmothers brown sugar pie recipe has been a family favorite, and so easy to make. My favorite is my cornbread dressing. As stated above, it has to come from inside the turkey....just tastes better.

More strange, I love raw oysters but hate them cooked. I love 'em. Raw on the half shell with a drop of hot sauce, fried with a side of tartar sauce, oyster dressing, you name it. We may have a mess of fried oysters along with the rest of the trimmings!
November 27, 201312 yr My grandma's sweet potato casserole was, to quote Guy Fieri, "Off the hook!" It was more like a dessert than a side dish. Glad the recipe is still in the family. My mom makes some really good cranberry relish, though. Makes it with a hand grinder.
