I think Montgomery County at #16 is pretty accurate. They still have a ton of talent & Wallace was outstanding in the post-season last year. The addition of Ciserocertainly helps.

 

I wouldn't include any other 10th Region team in the pre-season rankings, though there are a few who could work their way there over the course of the year.

I watched Bolden tear Scott County apart on Tuesday. He seemed to do whatever he wanted. I was skeptical of all the hype on him, but if there's a better PG in NKY I'd like to see it.

Mr. Sixer, I'd be interested in your thoughts on Boone vs. Cooper, since you seem to have your finger on the pulse of the Boone County schools.

With some players leaving some systems and others moving in, hard to rank the state this year. At the end of last year, I would have had Henry Clay #2.

I'm familiar with the players from both schools and have to give the nod to Boone over Cooper. Boone is deeper, has good size (height and GIRTH), solid PG play and a stud in Stanley.

 

Cooper is good for sure and have some offensive firepower, but I see Boone winning.

I agree with you Ennam the 4th.

Boone and Cooper could be switched but I like Cooper more as they have better scoring guards, IMO, and a big that flatout gets after it in Hathorn. The transfer of 6'6 Phillip Hawkins will be a big help for Cooper.

He came back at the end of the year and played JV. Did not get in much though. Very raw and needs to put on muscle.
