I'm sure it will be as objective as a ukfan1 6A preview. :jump:

I think you'll be surprised...

Walter's Top 10 Pre-Game Dunks

1. Holmes

2. Holmes

3. ....

Dude loves him some Bulldogs.

I want to see Beetle this year.

But I want to see a lot of players this year.

You won't be disappointed.

I think Montgomery County at #16 is pretty accurate. They still have a ton of talent & Wallace was outstanding in the post-season last year. The addition of Cisero certainly helps.

I wouldn't include any other 10th Region team in the pre-season rankings, though there are a few who could work their way there over the course of the year.

Him do..........

Again, when the region preview comes out, everyone will know what I think about the region.

I suppose I'd have Cooper 6th, but there is a lot of wait and see for me with the Jags.

Cooper will be 5th best team in the region. Trust me. Mcneil, Hathorn, Holland, and Morgan will be tough to defend.

Somehow I did forget about Morgan.

I'd defend him by just simply backing off and crowding the lane. His runner is really good. History says he'll pass up open jumpers. Strong defender.

Believe me, if nothing else, I trust you. Cooper at 5th, got it. I'm such a Baketball neophyte, you'll forgive me for sticking with Boone. I'm a real simpleton.

I know many disagree, including the incomparable Walter, but I think Holmes is closer to CovCath than they are 9th #1 NewCath.

I have 9th Top 5 like this:

NewCath

Holmes

CovCath

Dixie

Boone Co

I'm one of the many who disagree. Love watching NewCath play, but I'd be surprised if they win the 9th. Holmes being ranked No. 5 in state might actually be a spot or two too low.

Boone and Cooper could be switched but I like Cooper more as they have better scoring guards, IMO, and a big that flatout gets after it in Hathorn. The transfer of 6'6 Phillip Hawkins will be a big help for Cooper.

Who does Lafayette have to go with Davis?

Davis will score twice as much as anyone on team. Lafayette won't be very deep and won't have a ton of experience returning, but they will contend for a district, maybe even a regional, championship. Sr. G Lance Blakley (6-3 or 6-4 range) is a decent scorer. He has good skill for his height. Sr. G DeQuise Robinson (5-9 or 5-10 range) is a quick guard who will play good defense and put up some transition buckets. So. G Harrison Lane (5-11 range) is a good shooter. So. F Ross Jenkins (6-6 range) will be the only person down low helping Davis. He is really good for a sophomore for his height. I would look for Davis to easily average 20 and 10 again.

4 14th region teams in the top 25?

Yeah I don't get it......I don't think Hazard is a top 25 team. They'll be good, very good but I don't think they are a top 25.....I also don't get 3 14th region teams in the top 15....Top 25 yeah but Top 15?

Wow....that is tossing out a nice nugget in mid-November. I'll go the other way, barring a key injury, I'll be surprised if they don't win the 9th.

Should be fun....

If you were ranking the 11th where would you rank Lafayette?
