This play was a challenge from the start. The ball was snapped at Barker's feet, he never got the snap clean, ball was on the ground, he picked it up and squared his body from about the 23. Ball was deflected by #15 of MC on or about the 20 and Loney snagged caught it on or about the 17/18 and ran it in. Ball traveled about 55 yards in the air. Shocked to see the MC D let any Conner players get behind them. Gave the Cougars new life. Game changer. Fun play to watch.

 

Conner's D stepped up when they needed to allowing only 6 second half points. Way was a beast on both sides of the ball. This kid is a flat out stud. McKeehan also was a handful. The play of the game could have been a Barker to Postal pass late in the 2nd quarter. Might be the play of the year in NKY. Postal with a Dwight Clark type catch coming back across the back of the end zone with Barker rolling to his right with heavy pressure. What a play it was. Wow. Looking forward to Conner vs. Anderson County.
