I don't see Conner struggling against AC. I really thought AC was better than what they showed. One thing was made very clear and that is that that Conner's district is deffinatly the toughest and best district in 5A in the state. It really wasn't close last night. Conner if they throw the ball will be unstoppable against AC imo.

 

Last night Cooper had 6 turnovers which resulted in the majority of Anderson Co.'s points. including 14 points off of pic 6's. I just don't see Conner turning it over like that.

Ah.......yes. You bring up the barnburner that got taken away from the Cougars on a horrible phantom pass interference call. Conner still salty about that game.

That is where you are wrong my friend. The phantom call happened earlier in that drive before AC crossed midfield. Worst call I have ever witnessed.

I guess you would have had to see the game last night. Should of had 3 teams continue on in this disstrict. Cooper was well on their way to a running clock before AC started their dirty play, same as tthey did last year when down several scores. Officials were pretty much a joke. Coopper was deffinatly head and shoulders better than AC last night. Even the AC parents were saying the same thhing and they said if Ludwig wasn't taken out it would of been a running clock and beat down. Coooper didn't punt a single time while Ludwig was in, they couldn't stop Cooper at all.

Well, just so Conner is ready. AC tends to do a lot of late hitting, punching, etc. after the play is over. They only resorted to this after falling several TD's behind, they did the same last year also and was spoken of after last years game. Just the usual cheap tactics you will find from some teams when their backs are against the wall. Just a lot of late piling on, pushing and shoving long after the plays were over. Just very bush league. Several cheap shots away from the ball also, blindside hits etc. Very chippy and the laundry was flying last night in the first half. Once Ludwig was knocked out of the game they seemed to calm down in the 2nd half.

All the players from Cooper and Conner are big boys now.... I'm sure they can manage things without any advice from their mothers.
