October 22, 201312 yr Author Ohhhhhhhh snap.....I forgot about the "dollar birthday shots" I had bought for me at the Saddle Club in Fort Mitchell when I was 22 or 23. Purchaser gives the bartender a dollar and the birthday boy picks 'left' or 'right'. Let's say the birthday boy says 'left'....the bartender looks at the serial number on the dollar bill, and goes to the first digit on the left. We'll say it's a four. Then he goes to the first row of liquor bottles behind the bar and counts over four bottles from the left, and pours about a third of a shot worth of that liquor. Then he goes to the next digit of the serial number. Let's say it's an eight. Bartender goes to the second row of liquor bottles, counts over eight bottles from the left, and pours that liquor into the shot glass until it's about two-thirds full. Back to the dollar bill...third digit from the left. It's a two. Bartender goes to the third and final row of liquor bottles, counts over two bottles, and tops off the shot glass with whatever that liquor happens to be. Then the birthday boy has to take down their dollar birthday shot. I can't remember what was in them, but I had either three or four birthday shots purchased for me that night. I hated each one of 'em.

October 22, 201312 yr This thread makes me want to vomit, all these nasty drinks bring back memories, bad memories. Commode memories.
June 26, 201412 yr Author Forgot about a really bad one that I had years ago - until I friend poured me one last night (without informing me about what it was). Cave Creek Chili Beer. It's a beer with a whole hot pepper soaking in each bottle.

It's a beer with a whole hot pepper soaking in each bottle. I went to a music and beer festival in Snowmass CO with a buddy a few years back. One of the beer samples was a Green Chili beer, which was made with Green Chili Peppers. I couldn't even swallow the sip I got into my mouth. Foulest liquid on earth.

I couldn't even swallow the sip I got into my mouth. Foulest liquid on earth. Last night I had a full gulp in my mouth and on its way down my gullet before I had any clue what I was drinking. Thought he poured me another MGD like the one I had finished previously.
June 27, 201412 yr Jim Beam white label is disgusting I'll be fine if I never have another Irish Car Bomb or anything else with Bailey's in it. Yuck.
June 27, 201412 yr I have never had an India Pale Ale or IPA that I liked I recommend the West 6th IPA from the microbrewery in Lexington. I'm not a big fan of super-hoppy beers, and most IPAs have so much hops flavor that there's no other flavor to speak of. The West 6th, on the other hand, has a good flavor while not being excessively hoppy.
June 27, 201412 yr I had that Coors Light Summer Brew last week. Absolute disaster. Newly arrived at the top of the list.
June 27, 201412 yr I discovered the worst beer I've ever tasted a few months ago. I've really enjoyed all the Shock Top Beers, so whenever I see a new one I pick up a six pack. The Honey Bourbon Cask Wheat appeared so I had to try it. Absolutely terrible. It had a strange smell that I can only describe as somewhat musty, and the taste was even worse. I've had my share of bad beer, but this stuff is absolutely undrinkable.
June 27, 201412 yr Cement Mixer shot. If you do it right it's pretty good. But I waited too long to take it after it was poured and it was like drinking cottage cheese.
June 27, 201412 yr CWB's first post in this thread about the salmon vodka still makes me gag to think about. And I've never even seen such a thing, let alone tried it. :lol2:
June 27, 201412 yr Everclear. Not even close. I saw a kid in line at the liquor store tonight with four 1.75 liters. I remember the last time I had Everclear and it wasn't pretty.
