Why would that be? Then, if Simon Kenton beats Trinity later on, it would lessen the victory.

Thank you sir, may I have another!

Theoretically anything is possible, but realistically not likely.

Trinity

Air Attack

I don't care about KY vsOH in this case because Cincinnati is still local for NKY

I always root for the Ky school over an out of state school. I love my state.

Exactly, Go Rocks!

And for me I have several relatives that are Colerain grads so I am a big fan but at the end of the day I say: Kentucky Power!

I just can't pull myself to root for the Rocks in anything.

Family first, otherwise Kentucky. When Lexington Christian played Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy in 2011, I was for CHCA. Other than a family connection though, I'm probably going to be for the Kentucky school 99% of the time.

I have friends that have kids that play for Colerain! I also have family that goes to Colerain. I don't know anybody at Trinity seeing how most of their players are from other states! :D

Trinity. I have tons of respect for that program.

Speaking "sociologically," it seems strange you are working the public vs private school angle - like Colerain is some sort of victim that needs support.

Anyway.... I root for KY teams against other states, NKY teams against the rest of KY, and Cincy teams against the rest of the nation.

...........

I don't get the state fascination thing, but it is a little different for me living in KY and working in Ohio. I have some friends around the Colerain program, I appreciate what they have accomplished in a tough area, and honestly, Trinity winning doesn't thrill me. For me, in many ways, Trinity and Highlands have become Duke and the Yankees.....you just get sick of them winning.

Do you get sick of the Ohio football fans talking down about KY football? Do you realize that for an Ohio high school to lose a game to the KY teams in football is worse than stepping in dog poo with bare feet? :irked:

Trinity, all the way. They have always been respectful to me and the Purples. Plus, it's an out of state team. May as well be an out of the country team. Go Rocks!

Wow. I really didn't think I could ever question your intelligence more than I already have, thank you for giving me a new and far more justified reason than ever before.

This is great stuff guys. I appreciate all the feedback.

Clearly, it's statewide pride that will be backing the Rocks on Friday night. Keep the comments coming!
