Griz took care of it . I'm not a tech guy by trade . Tech just helps me do my job.I can only go off my personal use and what the tech guys at work tell me. Most tech guys I know have written apple off recently on there phone production. Apple still has ton of name brand power. Do a lot of other things well. Phones have been sub par from the bar they set in years past. I'm unbiased if apple released a phone that was superior I'd get it. Apple doing well is good for me . Apple just seems to release a new phone with very few improvements and gives it a new name. Most those improvements they do come out with droid platform has already had.

 

Also with the rising popularity of streaming, droids obvious integration of larger screens has done wonders with sales with the S4 and Note . I know iPhone users act like the bigger screen doesn't matter but in reality for functions used for both personal and business related use it has very real function and need in the market place .

We just saw the NFL ticket and DirecTV have a whole marketing campaign on streaming the NFL. Simply put if you have to work on Sunday or traveling and want to catch the game S4 and Note are more enjoyable to view streaming because of screen size.

^ Big no no that never gets talked about with Apple that is a big pet peeve of mine is storage. No expandable storage. Yeah you can pay the extra 100 bucks for 32gb OR you can get a 16 SD card at Target for 20 bucks and that's the same storage.

All of this is simply not enough for me to aha neon the iPhone. The day my iPhone doesn't do what I want or need it to do then I'll switch. As I said in my previous post, I'm not switching so my phone can be .00000000034 faster than my previous one. My 4S is still lightning fast and that is without 4GLTE. My pictures satisfy me. Any professional photographer won't use a phone for pro pictures anyways. We're splitting hairs on the tech stuff. It's all about personal preference.

I can agree with most if not all of this. Especially the part about apple falling short with new releases.

Last line is true. All on the person wanting the phone. As far as spec's though, GS4.

To me, even for work, I don't want a big phone. That's one reason I really like the Iphone5. It is slim and easy to care in my pocket, even in an otterbox case. While the Samsung bigger screen would be nice, it isn't necessary. If I have that much work to do I won't be doing it on my phone. Other then buying something in a pinch I don't do it on my phone. I sure the heck am not going to watch a movie on my phone so the bigger screen for me isn't a big deal.

The market didn't like Apple's announcement. The stock price dropped 25 at the open. It is coming back a little and will probably continue to gain back price as the day moves on.

In preparation for the big event at Verizon today, I got a Nokia 928 Windows phone last night.

Loved the 928. Camera is flat out amazing. I tried it about a month back. If Windows operating system was up to par with Android I would roll with the 928.

Just got an email today that our company would be upgrading our phones to the new iPhone 5S. Long overdue as we have been using non-smart flip phones. So now I will have a personal 4S to go with my corporate 5S.

I still see way more people with iPhones than anything else and despite the belief that Apple is down or losing people we all know that will change in about 2 weeks.
