Apple event on 9/10

Featured Replies

I still see way more people with iPhones than anything else and despite the belief that Apple is down or losing people we all know that will change in about 2 weeks.

I have no real statistics to back it up, but I feel like in terms of the actual phones, iPhones are still the most prevalent here in the US. Collectively, Android phones may be more numerous, but there are many, many different models whereas there are by and large only 3 active models of the iPhone here.

I hear about people with Galaxy S4s and the others but all I see is iPhones.

I see it changing. Again I'm in the business so I see a lot. About a year ago it was nothing but iPhones. I'm slowly seeing more and more Android devices now. Prolly about 60-40 Android.

Count me in. I hate all non Apple software. Especially Microsoft.

I hate all Apple software....just say in' :D

No way is it 60-40 android. Maybe 60-40 Apple.

Maybe because you iPhone people are always obnoxiously displaying your phones like status symbols. :D

But you see a variety of the Android devices, correct? It wouldn't be 60/40 of any particular model versus an iPhone right?

Report back in a month and tell us where it is.

That's because it is such a great phone you can't put it down. Don't hate because your super fast phone with a professional camera and a 36" screen on it is boring. :D

iPhone 5 battery life is terrible.

I've never had an iPhone with a good battery life. I keep chargers on standby. Home, car and work. I always have one ready to charge within a 20 yard radius.

My current HUGE pet peeve with Apple. The new chargers suck. I got my 5 the day it came out and I am literally on charges 9 and 10 (and just threw one away that when replaced will make 11). The damn things are finicky and give out super easy.

Just looked at the last 25 people I've messaged. The ratio of iPhone to "anything else" is 21:4. Fairly positive if I keep going further it will only tilt more towards the iPhone's favor.

The last 25 texts of mine was 19:6 in favor of iPhone.

Speaking of messaging, an Android can have all the fancy features it wants, their messaging SUCKS! I can type War and Peace on my iPhone and it will come in one long, easily readable message. Do that on an Android and you'll have to piece it together 160 characters at a time. Insanely lame...
