August 18, 201313 yr I am too. But why would Philkups want to be a backup his whole career? Phillips has been doing the best job at QB in practice so far. He will probably be a starter one day.

The only mention of QB play I have seen is in Brown's video post game scrimmage and he mentions Phillips as playing well. Where are you guys getting your information on this closed scrimmage, or is it all just personal opinions.

Brown said one of the 4 was on the receiver.
August 18, 201313 yr Yes.. That's why I said Barker is the first QB recruited by Brown, for Browns system, can't underestimate that.

August 18, 201313 yr It's a real blessing to have a good back-up QB. Most good back-ups want to play so they transfer.....and I can't blame them. I imagine Pat T. could do quite well in another system. What other schools were recruiting him when he was at Highlands?
