My kids watched for a while. They would ask me to watch but I thought it was bad Until I started with episode 1 and went from there.

I didn't get on it until here recently. I enjoy having it on when the Reds aren't playing and I'm cooking dinner or trying to get something done around the house.

I think a lot of what they do is contrived for TV, but I still like the show. Phil IMO is pretty much the most genuine person on TV. I received his book for Father's Day and he isn't joking or just putting on a show by closing each episode with the family sitting at the dinner table and saying grace. He was a hell raiser and nearly lost his family until he found Jesus.

Fantastic show. I love it. A show your family can actually watch together, that's always a plus.

 

I also read Phil's book, it is a quality read that shows how he turned his life around.
