FYI...the storm and sewer lines project has been going on for about a month now from an investigation, design, and approval standpoint. When the sinkhole was first discovered, a contractor, Schmidt Plumbing, was brought onsite to determine the problem, including using cameras to go back into the pipes. Once the problem was determined, plans and designs were then developed to fix the issue by the architects and engineers who work with the school district. With the new design, the drain pipes will no longer run under the football field. The Sanitation District has reviewed and approved the plans. The school board opened bids on Friday, 7/26, from 3 different firms and awarded the lowest bid to Schmidt Plumbing to have the work completed by August 15. Hopefully, no problems are encountered.

 

Lots of work going on behind the school building this summer...some planned...some not. That doesn't even touch all of the work going on inside the building as well!

First, let me say that I support it and I'm hoping you guys get it done in time. I was mostly teasing, but you said they just selected the contractor on 7/26 to have the pipes moved by 7/15. Can they start the Scoreboard install before the Pipes are finished being moved? I hope so. Some things tend to move quickly.

Scoreboard was delivered today; however, installation not scheduled for 10 days or so. Supporting steel structure still needs to be delivered.
