Student Drinking Occurred at Home of Boone County Elementary Principal

Featured Replies

Incidents, yes, but the fact is that it takes a certain personality to ask for a coach's head due to playing time. That same type of personality could also allow things that allegedly happened. I'm not saying that she did/did not do anything wrong, only that it makes it easier to believe if she did.

Mex, what I am saying is what the Boone County Board of Education decides to do in one or either of these cases should have no bearing, affect, etc. on the other incident/case.

Speaking in general terms, nothing surprises me when it comes to parents of athletes that struggle to play and nothing surprises me when it comes to school officials.

I was told about this "party" early last week and there is much more to the story. Besides teenagers being drunk........moms & dads were a little "tipsie" as well, according to my source.

If that's the case, wouldn't those parents be every bit as much to blame?

What is the law on this, can a parent give their child alcohol?

No!!

Depends on the state.

Depends on the state.

Didn't know that. What states allow parents to give their kids alcohol?

My old man tried to give Ralphie wine on Christmas one time, but my mother intervened.

Smart mom. A little wine and Ralphie might shoot Randy's eye out.

Seriously people! This sounds to me like a witch hunt! The "story" doesn't even make sense. Why would there be a party for 13 and 14 year olds (7th & 8th grade) at her house when her own children are in 10th and 11th grade? If this did happen it would all over the news by now with photos and hard proof considering kids do nothing without their phones and social media! It's very sad that this website has become a breeding ground for slander and vendetta!

Correct, furthermore a source I have inside of Boone Co Schools when asked about this replied to me "Yea, Im gonna be able to comment on this one"

My assumption from that is, if they cant comment, it must be serious.

We call that KARMA in my house.

Let's wait until we know all the facts before we go all macho, heh?

It is VERY easy to sneak alcohol somewhere and the parents never have a clue. Not saying that's the situation here, we don't know.

I'm sure your child would be proud to know their dad would make comments insinuating you'd resort to violence to solve problems.

Let someone intentionally harm my kids and my kids will be proud to watch me resort to violence.

I agree. She may only be guilty of not being diligent enough, which is still a serious thing when in charge of teenagers. We don't know that she provided or condoned the alcohol.

Do you have kids UK-MF?

I'm going to guess no without knowing the answer.

Thanks for the vote of confidence bball. :D

All kidding aside, I believe the party allegedly happened a couple of years ago.

I believe that you just proved my point as to this being nothing but a "witch hunt"

Did it happen? If you don't know the definite answer, then you need to either find someone who knows the facts or wait for the results of the investigation.
