Being able to eat whatever I wanted to without looking at myself the next day and wanting to throw up. Now I look at the mirror with the lights off, doesn't break that way.

Waking up in the morning and finding that what's supposed to be limber is stiff; and vice-versa.

AMEN

Not being able to do this ever again.

I don't mean to deminish any memory of any person that anyone cherishes, but I guess I was raised a little different. My dad passed away, but I do not miss him. He's with me, he's with my sons, he helped shape us all. He will never be gone. I see him everyday in my sons. I can't go back, nor would he want me to. Look forward people! There's so much good ahead of us. Cherish the past, but live. Now!

My house that I grew up in.

My mom and dad.

Moeller High School football during the glory years in the late 70's.

Home cooking the majority of the time (instead of always eating out).

Trips to the relative's farm (before interstates, you had to take the back roads through lots of small towns).

Saturday morning cartoons and Saturday afternoon wrestling.

Wide Word of Sports.

"Reality" was my life, not a stupid TV show about somebody else's life.

Prom night - dressing up in a tux and taking the prettiest girl around to the dance.

My first taste of beer.

Whiffle ball, pickle, and "kick the can".

Swimming and playing ALL day (whatever sport was in season).

My wedding day..........and honeymoon!

Let me add "pickle."

We had Alleys in Bellevue where I grew up and we would play hoops, pickle, whiffle ball and tag football all day long. Pickle was always a favorite of mine.

Playing dodgeball, spotlight, wall-ball, kick the can, and ghost in the graveyard (in the graveyard).

Playing "army" with the entire slew of neighborhood boys.

The sheer joy of playing with firecrackers.

Making the bike trails back in The Dairy/Ft. Mitchell Meadows.

Building sled riding ramps.

Climbing up anything I could climb up.

Walking to the Ft. Mitchell Drug Shoppe to buy baseball cards, Big League Chew and comics.

Going to Bluegrass Swim Club in the summer...and swim meets on Thursday nights in the summer.

The balancing act of riding a bike while carrying a fishing pole and a tackle box.

Cussing with the other neighborhood kids while we built forts in the woods.

Homerun derby, pickle, and backyard football.

I was in San Fran this past weekend visiting my brother and cousins. I miss hanging out with them w/ nothing to do. We did nothing, but it was such a fulfilling day just walking wherever in the city. I also missed being able to drink a six pack by 11am and knowing that in no way am I being irresponsible b/c I only had myself to worry about for the day.

Watching This Week In Baseball and going out playing baseball with my friends.

That was a great game. :thumb:

My entire neighborhood used to play. In the summer, there would be spotlight games going on 3, 4, or 5 nights a week.

Nowdays, essentially every time you get three or more of the "neighborhood kids" that I grew up with in a single place, you can pretty well count on hearing at least one or two stories about spotlight games. Every once in a while somebody suggests trying to organize one final reunion game of spotlight...but then we realize that a group of late-20 somethings and early-to-mid 30 somethings running around and hiding in people's yards at night would pretty likely have the cops out in full force.

My entire neighborhood used to play. In the summer, there would be spotlight games going on 3, 4, or 5 nights a week.

Same happened on my street as a kid. We had 5 or 6 kids every night we played & sometimes up to 10 or 12 if someone was having a friend over.

Good times.

As a 22 year, starting adult life. Being old sucks :D

You'll get there my young friend, faster than you think!:D

Not being able to do this ever again.
