Having no clue what stress actually was.

Have enjoy my many, many years on this earth and wouldn't change a thing, however I wouldn't want to be young again for all the tea in China. I worked far too many hours, earned too little money and had to bite my tongue far to many times to guests and management who neither knew much about anything to ever want to go through it again!

Have an wonderful wife, beautiful Daughter, and an outstanding Son-in-law, love my job, love working at CovCath with the kids, so why go back, when I am happy where I am at! :thumb:

I miss being pain free. I mean......I really, really, really miss that!

Young as in "a kid of the 70s:"

Whiffle ball in the backyard

Collecting baseball cards

Hanging out at night with your buddies in the neighborhood during the summer

The butterflies over calling a girl for the first time

Getting to watch Johnny Carson on weekends and then during the summer

Sweating my skinny rear end off in a non-air-conditioned house

Sleeping 3 to a room in a room big enough for 1

Kool-aid

Yoo-hoo

Jumping your Huffy bikeover dirt ramps

Strat-o-Matic baseball

Bas-Ket

Playing my Ohio Player "Fire" 45 over and over and over and....

I could go on and on.

Like a brother from another mother, that pretty much was my life in the 70's...but you I both know why you bought that Ohio Players Album :lol2:

Well, sure, there was that!

Let me add "pickle."

Hair.

Or at least, more hair.

First thought that came to mind, I'm 27 and I've been goin bald since 19.

Just not fair.

When I grow up, I'll let you know what I miss.

I miss waking up without pain but that of course is a result of those younger years. I miss the butterflies that would accompany each and every game I played. It's amazing how the first play kills those butterflies.

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.

You are as old as you feel. I feel like I'm 25 most of the time. Mrs. S says I'm closer to 13.

I miss buying record albums at places like K-Mart.I'm just glad I can still go to some independent record stores in Lexington, although it's 30 miles away from Danville.

I miss jamming with my buddies in our garage band.

I miss playing basketball almost everyday at full physical strength.

I miss hanging out with my friends on Friday and Saturday nights...

I miss thinking I could be anything I wanted to be and do anything I put my mind to doing. Reality sets in way to fast.

Not a dang thing.

Yep!

I take pride in every gray hair and every battle scar. I firmly believe for everything that passes, something new comes in.

I have fond memories and painful memories of things gone, but I don't miss it. I'm still moving forward.
