April 18, 201313 yr Well technically speaking Strickland couldn't recruit or be on the court for practice time, and any other special assistant will have the same compliance restrictions across the country ..... Sooo essentially if you do hire someone it will need to be a name, probably former player like what Cal did with tony delk and Scott Padgett. But that's just my opinion

So they recruit usually the best players in the Nation, but you want them to get a coach who can recruit in this state better? Haha ok then. It seems to me they have also done well in getting players the few players in Ky who would deserve to be on the team like Hawkins. Not to mention they are already looking at Boldin from Holmes. So they are doing just fine in that area, since Ky is not a major area to be looking at for recruiting.

April 19, 201313 yr Maybe promote Marquis Estill? That's what I first thought. Either way though I would love to see another former player come on board in some capacity, loved it when Delk was on staff first couple seasons.
