Featured Replies

NKY Jazz will be playing in the Dayton Metro roundball tourney this weekend.

Looks like there are a lot of teams in this one.

Who all plays for the Jazz?

NKY Bulldogs 16U (although banged up) will be in Lexington for the KBA Court Royalty tournament.

Schedule is very odd though... 3 games possible in the timespan between 3:20-8pm. And, there doesn't appear to be a ton of teams in the tournament. Haven't seen scheduling like this at KBA before...

Play on!

Looks like a good one. See ya there!

See post 247.

Unfortunately, with 2 sprained ankles, and a late bid to prom, the NKY Bulldogs have to pull out of the Court Royalty tournament. Need to get healthy for the Indy AMC next weekend.

Seemingly lots of little injuries going around. I saw that The Ville has some nagging injuries, too. Hopefully everyone is well for state!

This weekend, I had the pleasure of watching an AAU team win 4 games, then lose in double overtime in the semi-finals. On this team, there are no egos. There are no players who think they are better then the rest. There are no players who are trying to out score their own teammates so that they can be listed as high scorer in the paper, on the internet, or right here on BGP. There are no players that are worried about taking a risk or making a mistake, in fear their coach will bench them. Just a bunch of boys with one goal in mind---they want to win!

It was so refreshing, and the way basketball should be. I honestly think that the media and rankings and lists and such have taken away from the natural flow of the game of basketball.

Hatton was hurt and didn't play much if any in Ft Wayne this weekend.

You don't see that much during AAU... Who was the team?

Sounds like a great team, and I bet the players had a blast. Good for all involved.

Serious injury or just a nagging injury?

I think it's just a nagging injury.

The Magic have a lot to prove at AAU State... They have lost to some teams this season that are not very good.

What age group are you talking about? The 17s? Who have they lost to that isn't any good? There's only one AAU team in Ky that can play with them and they aren't coming. I think the Magic 15s and Hoop Dreams 15s will battle for that age group. Probably the same for the 16s.
