Noted. I realize there may be other issues, like other schools may play stronger schedules, or the kid may be able to play their natural position rather than be the 6'3 power forward. The fact is that most parents are making their decision on the sport, academics are now a by-product. If the kid is good enough, they are being recognized on the AAU circuit, not the high school team.

Spot on Kyyank... although you forgot after TMC, Mt St Joe it's on to the NBA! Seriously many parents figure it out after its to late; it really is about grades, part time employment, then athletics. If the kid is really good they will find you!!!

It has not been mentioned yet, because everybody on this thread is to busy knocking Walton instead of talking about the coaching spot. It's like a bunch of teenage girls who just got dumped.
