Bad officiating stinks doesn't it?

Im not going to harp on officials but there are 3 things that stand out.

 

11 had 2 hands on Bolden on many drives all day. I can handle that.

 

The 5 second call on MC was laughable.

 

On one of three inbounds Hawkins blatantly just pushed through two Holmes players. I know thats a big call in that situation. But it was blatant.

Seems like when the officials did make a call, Holmes missed their free throws. You can't blame it on officials

Well let me give all of you official blamers the truth from point blank. The game was physical from the tip. If every shove, reach, grab was called we would still be there and would have finished with bench players. Did they miss calls? Sure. No one mentioned the blatant double dribble by Bolden. Clearly seen, no call. Walk by Hawkins, no call. Walk by Englemon in the post and he gets fouled after. Walk by Walker same thing, gets freethrows. There was no bias. And from their perspective, this game had so much action they could have used a 4th official on the floor today. Hawkins was the best player on the floor in my opinion. And when it's all said and done, Bolden may be even better.

The broadcaster said the official s didnt deserve to be on the court and sorry hawkins aint that good james beetle bolden is 30 times better than hawkins sorry to say it but thats the truth bulldawgs still number one

That one was a 50/50 on the replay. W/ the benefit of slow mo it was close.

Bolden's step-back is the quickest that I've ever seen. He's back and up before you can react to get anywhere near his shot.

Your team will be back next year. Be thankful your team got to Rupp. Their are over a hundred schools that would have killed to be Holmes' place.

Congrats to MC on the big win, and good luck the next two days...Congrats and thank you Holmes for a wonderful season, and representing the 9th region. Don't care what anyone says, those kids left it on that floor today. Congrats and good luck to the Seniors, so glad you got to experience something so special. Looking forward to next year already, I'm guessing that Holmes gym will be packed quite a bit.

I heard Bolden is a 17 year old sophomore. if that is true, will he still make eligibility his senior year? The kid has a very nice outside jump shot.

Go back and read the prediction thread on BGP and tell me where "everyone" said Holmes would get blown out. I don't think anyone I know of said that.
