What "Normal" Food Can You Not Stand?

Featured Replies

Or even better, with honey on them! Soooo gooood!

I can't stand Brussels sprouts, absolutely hate them!

Hot, fresh biscuits and honey...pretty much nothing better in the world. Everytime I eat them, I'm transported back to my childhood and my grandmother's kitchen. In my mind I'm 6 years old again. :D

I used to think I hated brussels sprouts. But a couple years ago I tried some fresh brussels sprouts sauteed, then seared and tossed with walnuts and gorgonzola cheese. I like brussels sprouts now. :D

First post so I figured I'd make it a good one, list of things I can't stand to eat:

Salad, ranch, any salad dressing, tuna, mayo, mustard, onions, cold tomato, cheese (only cheese I will eat is mozzerela on pizza), bologna, meat loaf.. might be easier to just list what I eat.

Steak, chicken, beef, potatoes and a few vegetables- PLAIN. I am a restaurants worst nightmare when ordering food.

Welcome picky eater. :D

OK...can't understand the aversion to onions. Me? I'm an onion and garlic girl. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE both, and even better together. I cook pretty much everything I can with both. Of course, I don't have many friends, and have been divorced and never remarried for almost 25 years. Coincidence?

I was very picky growing up. Became a wrestler and changed quickly. I was the same way with Brussels sprouts.

One of the greatest things on Earth is a peanut butter and onion sandwich. I'm slobbering like Pavlov's dogs just thinking about it.

Want me to smack you on the nose to cure you? :D

Soup. Hate soup. Vegetable soup from Frisch's is good, but other than that...puke.

My three biggest no-no's are spinach, asperagus and coconut.

Weird, but, I like snickers but can't eat brownies if they have nuts. I'll eat sliced tomato on burgers but will pick out chunk tomatoes in chili.

Brings back fond memories of Tim "Men Are Pigs" Allen and his "vurp" routine.

"Hey, don't 'Oh' ME! I didn't invent 'em; I just have the lack of class to bring 'em up!"

I thought my taste would change with brussels sprouts now like it has for many things I didn't like when I was younger. I tried, I still can't eat them. I like most vegetables, brussels sprouts is one of the few I just can't acquire a taste for.

Not even bean soup, french onion, crab or lobster bisque?

You have a friend down the street you need to introduce to vegetables. His fear of irrational fear of broccoli iand all other things green, is only surpassed by his fear of squirrels.

Peanut Butter.

Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich.

When you are in school and living by yourself, peanut butter becomes its own food group.

Nope...Ramen Noodles trump peanut butter.

Bean soup, baked beans, lima beans, hot tuna, hot tomato's on a sandwich.

Pickles

Olives

Condiments (except BBQ sauce)

Mayo

Salad Dressings (any)

Cooked Spinach

You and I would get along fine.
