What "Normal" Food Can You Not Stand?

Featured Replies

Never cared for chicken salad — whether it be the way my mom makes it with pickles, mayo and eggs, or the weird way with fruit and nuts. Same goes for tuna salad. Yuk.

Don't like sweet potatoes or cucumbers (but I love pickles) or cantaloupe, or really any kind of melon outside of watermelon. I'm the same way with squash, but I can tolerate it.

I find tea of any kind — whether hot, sweetened or unsweetened — to be detestable.

Not much better than a fried egg sandwich with ketchup.

Is there an icon for throwing up in my mouth?

Only Frischs Tatar sauce with fries

I do enjoy fries that way or even in mayo.

cantaloupe,

Add cantaloupe to my list. Dreadful.

Onions. Nasty...

I cannot stand onions or anything that has onions in it, like chili or meatloaf. If we have meatloaf for dinner I sit there and pick the onions out of each bite I take.

But I do love onion ring!

First post so I figured I'd make it a good one, list of things I can't stand to eat:

Salad, ranch, any salad dressing, tuna, mayo, mustard, onions, cold tomato, cheese (only cheese I will eat is mozzerela on pizza), bologna, meat loaf.. might be easier to just list what I eat.

Steak, chicken, beef, potatoes and a few vegetables- PLAIN. I am a restaurants worst nightmare when ordering food.

Agreed on onions. They are terrible.

Now you've gone and done it.

Agreed. I love onions - cooked or raw.

In high school I dated a girl whose dad ate a whole onion as he would an apple.

I have seen people eat an onion like that. That's a bit of a stretch for me, though I do like green onions out of the garden with some white beans.

We used to go to Fuddruckers when it was in Florence & I'd build my own burger & pile the onions on it while my wife stared in horror.

Sirloin tips with onions & peppers...just about the perfect meal for me.

There is something about eating a raw onion that is equivalent to fingernails scratching on a chalk board. I go into the fetal position just thinking about it.

Welcome aboard! And I hope I never have to cook for you...

Looks like I was a little hard on HT. A lot of people don't like onions.

What else do you all hate? America? Vacations? Christmas? Over-sized snowsuits?

Agree on everything, except for melons. Love almost all fruits.
