What "Normal" Food Can You Not Stand?

Featured Replies

Ketchup?!!! Why that's......that's..............UnAmerican!

What is unAmerican is not liking bacon. I have a brother in-law who doesn't like bacon. There is something fundamentally wrong with that.

I can only think of a few things I like with ketchup:

Fries

Grilled Cheese

I don't put ketchup on much. I seldom put it on fries, but I do from time to time. I usually just eat fries with a dash of salt and a couple dashes of pepper (or if I'm at home, I forgo both of those and top them with my homemade cajun spice). I always put ketchup on meatloaf - although I hate it when the meatloaf has been cooked with the ketchup on top. My hamburgers generally get either A1, ketchup or sauteed mushrooms on them. And I sometimes eat home fries/hash browns/roasted potatoes with ketchup.

Recent discovery for me in the world of ketchup though: curry ketchup. They offer it down at Wunderbar! in Covington for their homemade sausages, and it's in-freaking-credible.

Someone needs to put him down for treason...

Only at Frisch's. But not on every fry.

Asparagus. But I don't think that stuff is normal.

Haven't had any yet, but I saw Bacon Ketchup at Jungle Jim's over the weekend.

And the absolute worst - tomatoes above room temperature.

I love 'em cold. On sandwiches, filled with tuna salad, tomato/onion/cucumber salad - I love 'em. But if they're hot, they make me gag. Can't stand even the smallest chunks in sauce. Can't even look at 'em - they get picked out and wadded up into a napkin. If I had the choice between a firing squad and a heap of steaming stewed tomatoes, I'd just have to say, "It's been real".

When they're cold, sliced and on a hot sandwich; I can eat the sandwich until the tomatoes start to warm up. Then the remaining tomatoes have to go.

My gorge is rising just typing this.

I mix ketchup and tartar sauce.

Not much better than a fried egg sandwich with ketchup.

I don't know if this qualifies as normal but horseradish.

I would starve before I would eat horseradish.

And I would die if I couldn't have Horseradish . On the other hand tuna noodle casserole:puke: Oh and Catsup or Ketchup on fish .
Nuts

Macarroni & Cheese

Ice Cream

Are you sure you are human and not a zombie .
