What "Normal" Food Can You Not Stand?

Featured Replies

Yeah right! Cilantro makes Mexican food taste incredible!

Or, if you're like me, it makes everything taste like soap.

Not sure what vegetables have to do with it. Never been a problem. I just do not like vegetables.

I think back to a buddy of mine at WKU years ago who never ate anything but fast food. He would go up to 2 weeks without a BM.

Baby steps.... baby steps.

Took a while, but I got him to try Indian and Middle Eastern food. I don't want him to get skittish and revert.

A good deed indeed.

Brussel Sprouts......good.

Beef Liver......very good.

Chicken Liver......okay.

Olives......fantastic.

I love hitting the "olive bar" at Jungle Jim's. Seems like I spend as much on olives and I do on anything else there.

I have to wonder how regular some of you folks are who eschew vegetables. Once a week? Every 10 days?

Do some people not chew their vegetables?

Onions, peppers (all kinds), olives, mustard (except on coneys), salsa, pickles (all kinds), tomatoes (except in sauces)

I think there were other things missing from his diet also. I know my diet is weird, but I like it, my doctor says everything is okay, so it will probably stay this way. Believe me, I am not proud of the fact that I don't like vegetables, but they honestly do not taste good to me. By the way, did your friend have brown eyes?

Yeah, but that's because he's black, not from a sewage backup. :D

Nuts

Macarroni & Cheese

Ice Cream

Thought I was the only person in the country who hated mac & cheese

Ok I had a conversation/argument with some people from canada about Miracle Whip/Mayo???

I personally hate Mayo, but like Miracle Whip... anyone else have feelings on this?

I didn't know anyone existed who didn't like pasta, condiments (?), meatloaf, or ice cream. Craziness.

As for me (and I don't consider liver normal), I don't like bacon (I know I'm going to get it for that), scrambled eggs (love them fried, poached, or in omelettes), or cream-based soups.

Scrambled eggs isn't totally weird. Their texture can sometimes turn people off.

Cream-based soups is odd though.

Love tomato-based, broth-based, and chili though. Love them.

Oh, and I love cottage cheese and yogurt -- I know some don't.

Garlic. It is hard to navigate around in many restaurants. At an Italian restaurant - forgettabouttit.
