What "Normal" Food Can You Not Stand?

Featured Replies

Love all of that.

I'll try anything, once. I've had chocolate covered ants and grasshoppers, tripe, beef tongue, bloody tongue, and a bunch of other foods I probably don't remember. One of my grandfathers loved pork brains and eggs. Not my favorite, but not bad. The other made a killer turtle soup. A good size snapper, meant a great meal.

Don't try to smoke gator tail. It gets rubbery. Rattlesnake does taste like chicken and Mountain Oysters are really good.

I agree with this. I've had all those things. If its not a canine I'll try it.

Popcorn? Is disliking that allowed?

I bet you I can grill you a tuna steak you'd love! Care to place a friendly (non-monetary) wager? You pick the spoils.

I couldn't bring myself to take advantage of you like that...

...since there's no way you would win.

You never saw yourself eating Indian or Mediterranean food either, but....

I like a good challenge. I'm thinking this spring. You don't like it, I'll have other things to grill you like, so no loss for you. I say bring it. :D

Ever had kangaroo? I've been thinking about trying that.

No, but I bet Mr. Green Jeans has.

My wife and daughter frequently eat Macaroni and Tomatoes. I can't stand the sight of it.

Anyone else enjoy that?

They have that at Lamberts in Sikeston, MO. I am not a big fan.

Ugh. My grandma used to make that stuff when I was little. For some reason, my school also though that macaroni and tomatoes, a small sausage patty and a slab of ultra-dry cornbread and some atrocious soup beans made for a good meal. I always brought my lunch that day.

Had meat loaf with macaroni on Tuesday night. Yummy!

My son cannot stand catsup or ketchup. I told his mother I'm getting a DNA sample from him to get analyzed. She didn't laugh, hmmmmm.

Mac & Cheese

Never been a fan.

Ice Tea

You got to love any old thread that is revived that contains some Birdsfan posts!

Where was my invite?

I can't stand mac n' cheese my whole family thinks I'm weird.

Although I don't like macaroni with tomatoes, I'll eat macaroni with just tomatoe juice.

Mac n' cheese is one of those foods that I can continue to eat long after my mind and body tells me that I am full.
