Belfry's schedule is incomplete, they still have one opening in week 3.

 

This schedule is a tough one for the 3A Pirates.

 

Gallia Academy OH was 9-3 last year and beat Jackson and Portsmouth and lost to Ironton by 1 point.

 

Christian Academy of Knoxville's only loss last season was a 3 point loss to Alcoa, but they beat Alcoa in the playoffs on their way to a state championship.

 

 

Scrimmages: I know they scrimmage Hazard, not sure about the other one but I'm pretty sure they didn't renew the annual scrimmage with Boyd Co.

Blackman HS is located in Murfreesboro, and that's a real hotbed for HS football in TN! Open date is 11 Oct for Fall Break. District games are Barren Co, Logan Co, Warren Central, and Greenwood. LexCath ought to make for a superb opening to the season at WKU!! I'm also very much looking forward to my second trip to Brother Thomas More Stadium at St X...I really enjoyed my first trip there because the folks there make sure the visitors have a great experience. They were very nice to us...just hope I can see Oxnard there this time!

I just saw where Henderson County will be playing Covington Catholic the next two years. Interesting pick up for the Colonels... uhh Henderson County Colonels.

Good question, I never thought about it. HERE is a link to their 2012 schedule. Alcoa is a district game as well. Looks like CAK is very good offensively.

Private schools can play in the public tournament if they don't offer scholarships. Tennessee Supt told me that last week.
