February 14, 201313 yr I can buy that...but the facts that there is apparently some history of domestic disputes between the two and that he was allegedly surprised, tired, and wasn't able to tell he was shooting at his girlfriend, yet still managed to make 4 very well-placed and lethal shots at that person seems very suspicious to me. Agreed. My comment was not specific to this situation, just a general statement.

I can certainly see how one could accidentally shoot someone they mistook for an intruder, but it does seem odd he was so successful in where he shot her, but he couldn't recognize who he was shooting. He has 10 foot walls and an electric fence around his house. This isn't being investigated as a home invasion, but instead a murder and he has already been charged...

Add that to the fact that he was "startled in the pre-dawn hours" and still managed to fire four shots and land two in the head and two in the chest, and I'm smelling something fishy. February 18, 201313 yr A couple interesting updates: -Investigations are showing the it appears Reeva was initially shot in the bedroom, and then retreated into the bathroom, closing the door behind her. Pistorius then shot through the door and killed her. -Officers who searched the house are also reported to have found steroids. Roid rage?
