Cooper 65 Covington Catholic 49

Shoot 35% you are not going to win many games, but against a good team not at all.

CovCath shots where short all night.

And not having Nick F. for 3 qrts did not help.

Collins #31 had a great night, it seemed that if he got it to the rim, it went in.

Cooper does that to everyone they play.

Why did the students go to Covington? The game was in Park Hills!!!:idunno:

Inside joke, move on.

Please forgive me for not being aware of this. Wow

Kinglouie, if you go back to the Holmes/Cooper thread (I think), you will see how this came up. A comment was made about why there was not a bigger fan turn out at that game.

Cooper is a dangerous team. They came on strong at the end last year as well. Sullivan is one of the best coaches in the area!

Very impressive win for Cooper. Congrats. I am sure this will change Walter's top 10 list. Good luck to both teams going forward.

Cooper's a tough game no matter who they are playing

Cooper defense was part of the poor shooting, but not all of it.

CovCath had a lot good looks, but the shoots where just short.

CovCath had a bad not shooting, even at the line, at one point they where 2-7 in a close game at the time.

Part of that is the D that Cooper plays that makes teams work so hard just to get a shot off. As the game goes on, the legs will go and shots fall short.

Congrats to Cooper on the win.

Correct.

I'm told that big Lou for Cooper is playing with a cracked/broken rib (don't know if this was mentioned before or not), this probably doesn't help with his sub-par performance.

Is that the shooting form Dr. Naismith taught you? Sorry TOG, couldn't resist>

Wasn't mentioned. Happened during the Conner game.
