I've been saying it all year. Defense goes a long way. When people make the comment that cooper can't score enough I come back with it only takes one point to win. This team plays great defense and that's the bottom line. They have given up 50 or more points only 5 times this season. For those who keep doubting if this team isn't for real I say to you "hold that thought". McNeil had only 9 for the game and no other player in double figures besides Collins.

Anyone who has seen them play know they are as good as any team in the 9th. There is no doubt in my mind they are one of the 4 that will.

Cooper has a nice team. To win by sixteen over CCH is impressive considering McNeil and Maniacci combined for fifteen.

Combine the tough "D" with the fact that any 1 of 7 kids are capable of leading the team in scoring on any given night spells trouble. Cooper is for real.

Give McNeil a lot of credit. He was a big part of the defensive success tonight. Plus, he wasn't forcing any bad shots on offense. Never got rattled. Never got frustrated because he wasn't "getting his."

I will say that even though Morgan isn't a scorer he played a strong PG game tonight. When he penetrates it's trouble.

I think Cooper has 4-5 players that can put up double figures any given game. Collins, McNeil, Big Lou, Shelton, Holland and when he gets on a roll also Hathorn. Collins and McNeil will usually be your top scorers but the team is so deep any of those others can and have put up nice numbers in games this year already.
