Voice of Reason
Allyn's Cafe out past Ruby's is really good. Allyn’s “more than a café” - - 513-871-5779 Do they still have live music at Allyn's? It has been a while since I was there. They used to have a jazz night. Colonels_Wear_Blue
Really good food. Cool place. That's where my rehearsal dinner is going to be. I talked Joe and Matthew into giving us the entire restaurant for the night. Should be awesome.
UKMustangFan
That's where my rehearsal dinner is going to be. I talked Joe and Matthew into giving us the entire restaurant for the night. Should be awesome. My buddy's now wife is cousins with the brothers and had them cater their rehearsal. Love that place. Plus they're clients of ours, so every now and then we can score some extremely discounted grub.
75center
Anyone ever been to Spare Time Grill in Alexandria? Pass it all the time but never have been in. It has the look of an old time diner similar to Anchor Grill.

Lawnboy13
Bellevue Bistro is an excellent place for lunch or breakfast. Eli's is one I'm dying to check out. I hear the sides as well as the BBQ are awesome. Excellent plug. :thumb: Does your mom still own it?

ColonelCrazy
Yes! Have you been there? Yup, I have been there. It was alright...not really my type of pizza, but most people really enjoy it.

I don't think they have live music anymore, but I'm not positive.
ColonelCrazy
I'm not a big fish guy, but people rave about the fish (I think it's Cod) sandwich at Shakey's Pub & Grub in Florence (across from the Wildwood Inn). Big, hearty portions too.

75center
Detroit Joes. Great burgers and home cooked meals. Is that in Newport? If so we've wondered about it several times but haven't tried it yet.
