Not in Northern KY, but has anyone else ever been to Isadore's off the Hopple Street exit? It would be in the "dive" category, but they have an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet that is solid and great for the money. I'm always the only tie / cufflink person in the building, but the owner (Joe) is a great guy and they have won best meatballs at virtually every festival in the Midwest. I took the most hoity-toity person there I know for a lunch two weeks ago and she actually loved it.

 

This place sounds interesting, and I can't believe that for as long as it's been there I've never heard of it. I'm going to have to give it a try. Thanks for the heads up.

The visit to Kung Food's amerasia was outstanding . Pork " Get in my Belly" made with Pork Belly was fantastic and the wifes Pad Thai was very good as was a take out of original " Kung Po " chicken . Ordered it 10 on a 1-10 scale and it was just right !!! had a great craft beer that I cant pronounce nor spell also .

Didn't see this earlier. Did you inquire about food that's not in the menu? They usually have a few speciallty dishes not listed.

My son had the 1/2 chicken and loved it.

malachi-- I did but they didnt have many specials that pm ( a Tuesday) had a flounder dish but I wasnt interested in that . Also wanted a " happy family" but told it was not available that night.
