We all banter back and forth throughout the year and disagree on lots of issues, but when it comes to what really matters in life, it really makes me feel good to be a part of something so good and so wholesome. I have seen the magic on display often and I know Q has read all of these posts and it has made him feel just a little bit better during this very difficult time. God Bless.
December 31, 201213 yr Praying for you. It's never easy losing someone you love, it's especially hard losing a parent and you hate to see them suffer. God found you just as i am sure he's found and received your father. May god bless his soul and also thank you for his service in the military.

My father was there for me and loved watching me and my brother participaré in sports. I just wish he could have had the opportunity to watch his grandchildren. December 31, 201213 yr Time to rest soldier....thank you for your service and protection. As someone who lost their mother this past fall, due to a long term illness......there is a lot of emptiness involved, but at the end of the day, the Lord has finally taken this angel to be healed and eternally happy. It's what we all long for. Take solace in that, and love on your mother in droves......God Speed.

I have seen the impact of dementia and Parkinson's on family members first hand and it is a very difficult final path for an entire family. I know that in some ways this is a blessing but it still is a loss that hurts tremendously regardless of the ending quality of life. Find peace in knowing your father is in a much better place today and smiling down upon all of you.
