I wonder how many people if guaranteed to have the economy back like it was in the late 90's early 2000's would welcome Bill Clinton back to the White House?

 

The guy screwed up, like a lot of powerful people he thought he could cover it up and get by with it, so he continued to tell lies. It all came crumbling down around him. The humiliation and hurt that he has gone through and more importantly put his wife and family through (along with the butt whooping) is enough for me to give him another chance.

Any of you ever been to a rap concert? I have, once. Terrible mistake. Anyway, one guy does the rapping, then there are a couple other of his cronies out on stage, repeating the chorus or things like, "Yeah", "What"....one liner type things. That's kind of what you all have going on. Cute. Really is.

Been off the grid for a few days. I love the hire. I wish UK would have hired him but it looks like the SEC blackball is real. WKU upgraded from Taggart to Petrino. Yes. Upgraded. I wish them both well and I look forward to following WKU's progress.

I'd vote for Clinton in a heartbeat, and I'm Republican, well, Moderate, but nonetheless.

What's your feelings on the Petrino hire? I know you have more of a vested interest than anyone else on BGP.

Any and all UK fans (or anybody for that fact) that thinks WKU hiring Petrino was bad for their program.

 

Not the program, the university. He'll elevate the program. At least until he embarasses it. I'm just surprised as I didn't think Ransdell wanted to take WKU in the direction this does.

I feel that it is a tremendous hire for them....think about this....he's getting $850,000 this year....if he leaves after one season, there is a $1,250,000 buyout....that would be a win....the publicity they have already received is priceless. They also, have a senior laden team returning, and IMO, the very best offensive mind in the college ranks. In regards to Bobby's character? Who really knows what is going on in his day to day life.....but I would be absolutely shocked if he were to do something embarrassing to himself, his family, or the university.....that would be the death penalty for him. I fully expect for him to be gone in 2-3 years...if that happens, he'll have had tremendous success.....sounds good to me.

Do you guys realize what some high school football and basketball coaches have done in their personal life in this state? Really? They are coaching KIDS.

 

Petrino is coaching men, 90% of the men he coaches can fight a war....who cares what he does off the field.....
