First he bad mouths UK players, then he shoves one of his own. Should we start calling him Little Bobby?

I think he went too far. Anytime a coach grabs a player and shoves him around, that is not good. Woods allowed his emotions to get to him.

Sean Woods sure has looked like a Jerk lately. He absolutely crossed the line! In coaching bball you should never touch a player in anger. Period.

Maybe he is angry about not guarding the in bounds pass:D

Take your loss son, I mean Sean.

No. We don't know what goes on in practice. Don't know if the kid has a smart mouth. Don't know what the kid said to Woods after he fouled out. Pitino acted the same way when he was at UK and all was fine with the universe.

That seemed a bit much. It took a lot of restraint for that kid to not respond physically. There were a couple times he was there, and stepped back from that line. Between this and the pre-game comments, something a buddy of mine told me about Woods a few months back seems a lot more likely.

Because he won. Just like Cardinal fans are now, UK fans put up with a lot of stuff from Rick that would have him bounced out of town in short order if big wins weren't attached to his baggage tags.

I think he crossed the line. It's a fine line but I think he definitely went over it. It appeared as if he wanted to fight the kid. That's not healthy.

Pitino never went that far.

He went over the line with the shove.

There's a difference between just yelling at a player and doing what Woods did. It looked like he wanted to punch the player or something. Cal yells at players, he just kept going after that kid. No excuse for that.

The push was a bad move.

I mean come on, your team gave UK all they wanted for 3/4 of the game. How can you not be pleased with their effort?

According to the post game Woods said that he was just trying to calm the player down. IMO this right now is the time that Woods needs to step up, be a man and admit the mistake. Do not try to shake it off as a "misunderstanding" or whatever. Admit it and move on. Makes him look like even more of a punk the longer he goes on and makes up excuses.

First of all, the player should know that you can't run your mouth to the coach. That being said, Woods shouldn't have shoved him but I'm fine with him getting in his face. That's just part of it.
