November 17, 201213 yr If you can only recruit well from one part of the country I'll take the kids from GA and SC . UK isn't going to get a lot of top talent from OH. They'll stay Big 10 or maybe UC. I'm not sure I completely agree. I think with the right guy we can get top talent out of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Illinois. Best case scenario in GA, SC, and FL is we keep playing second fiddle and get the left-overs. That has never and IMO will never get UK where they need to be, I'm ready for a radical shift in philosophy. I think UK needs to go north and west and try to establish themselves as the SEC school for talent in the north and mid west... KSU, ND, OU, Michigan, Rutgers etc don't recruit the south and have had success. UK needs to use their geography as an advantage. Butch Jones, Rich Rod and Jim Tressel would all help achieve that...

Doesn't make any sense to make that move given what I know of him and his situation...

I think he probably leaves for one of those 3 jobs.

November 18, 201213 yr Would you be shocked if Jones left UC? Depends on how good Jones thinks he is. He can lay low at UC for many years and win 6+ games, or move up in the world. It's an unstable conference and look at Mad Dawg with the #1 team in the country at the moment. I just think the SEC is to big for Jones.
