Talk about some annoying SVMS parents and some bad calls. 3 of the 4 charge calls were obvious blocks. NKMSA in the future should evaluate referees and then determine who to use and who not to use.

Very disappointing exit for Highlands 6th IMO. Very deep team that never used it to their advantage. Having said that, does anyone know what the Holmes-Newport 6th result was?

Sounds like a great finish in the IHM/Conner game... at least from the IHM perspective. They get Gray now?

Just want to give a :thumb: to IHM 7th boys. In the first Conner/IHM match-up, the much bigger Conner team blew them away in the first quarter. Last night, a different IHM team emerged and kept it closer, down only 14-18 at half. Wish they could have played like that all season!

Conner pulled ahead and won by about 15.

Congrats to Conner! Good luck the rest of the way.

I was at that game for most of it. I thought both parents were pretty redneck to me. Wasn't to one sided, but that is just my opinion. What is up with SV bench, look like they were missing at least two starter and a few other players? Maybe had 8 kids total playing. Has Coach Hawkins ran them off

Holmes 6th grade beat newport by 30 or more, good job by both teams

St. Pius against IHM in the District final. Winner gets Ockerman, loser gets Gray.

6th Grade boys Holmes and Gray are in a class by themselves no one even a close 2nd. Holmes great Coaching, Gray plays 17 kids and still wins by double digits.... I would hate to face only their top 7 or 8 it would be ugly for the opposition.

8th grade IHM girls beat St. Pius 39-38 on a three pointer with 4 seconds left. In fact that was their first lead of the entire game. After Pius built up a 12 point lead early in the 2nd half, IHM changed up their defense and Pius did not have a good answer - IHM slowly chipped away bit by bit until down only two with 20 seconds left they came down and patiently worked it around till they got the open three. Pius probably made a strategic mistake by not fouling at the end to waste seconds off the clock - they had 3 fouls to give but chose to play straight up. Great effort by both sides and great game.

Really because the SVMS A.D. Called Woodlands A.D. To apologize of there redneck parents. One of the parents is not aloud at the championship game. She had verbally threatend one of Woodlands players. Very unacceptable. If there was an officer there like high school games she would have instantly been arrested or escorted out of the gym!

Gotta love middle school ball. Parents seem to be crazy. Even worse than those at the high school levels.
