Yes, yes , and yes...SK is closer to the size of these schools than Highlands. How many times has SK played any of the 3 you mentioned?

 

BTW- many teams schedule & compete with Highlands & Cov. Cath. In no particular order they are:

Ryle

Boone Co.

Beechwood

Dixie

Campbell Co.

Holmes

Scott

 

Just to name some and I'm sure I forgot a few. Guess who is NOT on the list!

 

And those programs benefited how? I would not describe the results of those games as "competitive". SK gets all the criticism for the "weak" schedule, but exactly how many of HHS games are actually competitive? Maybe 1 all year, at most. Out of 7 games, the game score margin for SK has been 8 or less in 4 games. Based on those results, I would say the schedule is right where it should be.

And even if he did, shame on the pioneers program for not being able to attract the athletes from their own backyard! Is it Highland's, Cov Cath's or Beechwood's fault that a kid wants to play in a good program? I hear you guys whining all the time about losing players to others. Whose fault is that?? Build your program and you wouldn't lose all the kids. Pretty simple. That's what's going on in Camp Co before your eyes!

It continually amazes me that all of these collective "experts" on BGP don't recognize that the transfers and out of district enrollments are almost always from the outer suburbs to the inner suburbs. There is an obviuos geographic driver that you would collectively prefer to deny. The schools on the recieving ends are proximate to the employment centers.
