You could be correct. My understanding was that 3 way tie, all 3 teams take the wins from teams they played and the most points get 1st, second most points get 2nd and so on. But like I said, you may be right, it may go head to head after 1st is decided.

 

Either way, it's gonna be an interesting rest of the season and playoffs.

 

All I know is that if cooper lays an egg next week like they did tonight, there will be no need for a tie breaker of any kind lol

Random thoughts: (I hope Guru is not upset with me)

 

Conner came out focused and had a GREAT game plan to start the game. Execution was nearly flawless.

 

Cameron Fogle is a great football player.

 

AJ Collins is a great football player.

 

Conner had Zach Castleberry at MLB for the first time tonight. Difference maker.

 

Aaron Morgan did not have his best game tonight, but he is a great player.

 

Fogle's pick near the goal line was a HUGE play. Blue blur. Closing speed was sick.

 

Andrew Way was huge tonight. I love ANDREW WAY. Gamer.

 

Aaron Spencer made a great play to stop Morgan on a reverse.

 

Tyler Morris is a flat out gamer. Love that kid's heart and effort.

 

Conner's O Line was great tonight.

 

Two costly Conner TO's let Cooper back in the game.

 

Loney had a great drag in the back of the endzone and made a nice TD catch.

 

Coach Trosper and his staff have to be pleased tonight. Great game plan.

 

Could careless about players fighting or running thru cheerleaders.

That is doubtful. I'm assuming this is some sort of "Oh well, you beat us, but we took your girls" attempt to stir the pot.

 

I know personally, I would have cared less if cheerleaders were hanging out with people from the team we just beat. That shows me they aren't interested in a winner, thus, I would have nothing to do with them.

Like I said, on that score, that is fine with me it wouldn't of made a difference anyway.

 

The pushing and shoving you talked about which you said was initiated by Cooper, why do you think they started pushing and shoving? The answer is they were trying to get the players off the kid who was on the ground being kicked.

 

Now you brought this up, so I will ask you another question. You talk about bush league, is it bush league when a player is hurt on the field to not have your players show any respect and kneel down to wait to see if he is alright as the medical staff is on the field checking on him? That happened three times tonight with Cooper players down hurt and not one time did Conner players take a knee. It may not be the definition of Bush league, but it is the definition of classless.

 

No it is not bush league to not take a knee when an opponent's player or even your player is hurt. Don't know where that silliness came from. Probably soccer.

All the plays have been mentioned so I won't repeat them.

 

Conner wanted it more from the start, period. Cooper looked like they were on ice skates and had very poor tackling and costly turnovers and dropped passes in the redzone.

 

Conner was the better team tonight and deserved to win so congrats to them.

 

Hopefully no one "lays an egg" and they can meet again as it was a huge crowd.

 

Lastly, high schools would make a ton more money if they found a way to handle concessions with large crowds. Every game I've been to this year there have been 50 people in line all night, all schools, not just Conner as they have 2 areas and still can't keep up.

Conner 38, Cooper 21: Senior Cameron Fogle did it all for Conner, coming up big on offense, defense and special teams. As a running back, Fogle chewed up 146 yards on eight rushes and found the end zone three times. He also grabbed six catches for 51 yards. On defense Fogle picked off two Cooper passes. He was also a weapon in the kicking game, booting a 52-yard punt.

That was not a good website redesign. It may look pretty but it isn't as user friendly as it was.
