Oh brother! Don't get me started on the taking a knee thing. That is a girls soccer thing that somehow found its way onto the football field. Be mindful that a player is injured. Be respectful. But you do not have to take a knee. Coaches can coach, players can listen even while a player is hurt. It is not bush league. It is football. Sorry, if that is not politically correct, but it is the truth.

Conner made a statement. They ran the ball down Cooper's throats tonight and Cooper simply had no answer defensively. I believe Conner had 325 yards rushing. This wasn't Boone or Ryle's offense.

 

I like Morris and Collins A LOT! Two really good runners.

 

Big night for Conner's Andrew Way. Strong running.

 

Best all-around player in NKY? Fogle.

 

Cooper O is not made for a comeback (even though they gave a good effort). Passing game is "I'll run around and you get open."

my Random thoughts:

 

Barker was lights out tonight, the one mistake he made wasn't that bad of a mistake, he was trying to throw the ball away and a defender got lucky to tip it up in the air for a int.

 

Fogle is the best player in NKY period. He is a beast!

 

Conner's O-Line played awesome, gave Barker plenty of time on passing plays and kept Cooper's D-Line out of the backfieldd all nite long.

 

Cooper made adjustments too late and could not climb out of the 21 point hole from the first half.

 

Cooper needs to make better decisions in the passing game

 

AJ Collins was a beast and he and Cameron Fogle were clearly the best athletes on the field tonight.

 

Great Game Cougars and best of luck the rest of the way.

I sent him a congrats pm. Like I said earlier, clearly the best game I ever saw Drew have. HE was fun to watch tonight, even for a fan of the other team. He's got a bright future ahead of him. I don't think you can be any more opposite of Zeke Pike and thank god Drew is the total opposite of Pike. I will enjoy watching him for years to come.

You could be correct. My understanding was that 3 way tie, all 3 teams take the wins from teams they played and the most points get 1st, second most points get 2nd and so on. But like I said, you may be right, it may go head to head after 1st is decided.
