Kid in question is listed at 5'5", 140. Heard the "incident" lasted about 30-40 minutes in total. Heard it was quite the scene by an eye witness.

No. Refusal to comply with the Sheriff's department would be unacceptable and result in being tased.

 

Disregarding the coach is one thing, who knows, maybe the coach was acting like a fool. But when an officer tells you to do something, DO IT! Even if you are in the right, just obey and go home and settle it later the correct way.

I agree with UK (is the world about to end? Lol). I do agree that the kid should have just left after the officer showed up, I wasn't there so I don't know of the threat to the officer.

 

But some officers do use a taser more than they should, and there have been many deaths due to their use. I think UK was speaking in general terms and not just on this issue.
