SK is big but they aren't pushing Holmes off the ball. Holmes has size on the line and a couple big linebackers as well. They will stuff the box and send everyone just like SK likes to do. The SK passing game is the key to winning this one for the Pioneers.

 

Last week 10 different receivers caught a pass for SK.

This will be another close one. The Bulldogs are hard to watch, they look so out of sync, then hit you with a big play or grind one out, pick one off, etc.. They throw well enough to keep you honest. The passing game will be the key for both teams. Peterson is a difficult matchup for anyone, but he does lose focus, then makes a spectacular catch even if covered. Again, do not kick it to Scruggs, it will burn you eventually. With that said, I think SK by 6-10. The'neers are more consistent. They will hold the edge on the running game which could force Holmes to pass more that they want. That could be the difference.

 

SK lacks an electric skill player that can provide big plays and easy scores.

They will be a lot more explosive when Huesman gets right. He's still not coming off the ball like he can so timing's a little off with Kuntz. Last week is a perfect example, he wouldn't have been caught from behind and he would have run under the deep ball that missed.
